The Perfect Carry Case for a Steyr LP50 Air Pistol

Our C203 Cases (view product) are not only pleasing on the eye, but they make for the perfect carry case for small objects such as Air Pistols, which is the reason one of the customers made the purchase. The Steyr LP50 Air Pistol is a popular product in the Air Pistol market, hence why it was very important for our customer to find a practical case for it, not only to protect it from scratches but to present it well.

The C203 Aluminium Flight Case is one of our smaller cases which includes cubed foam which our customer has used to his advantage to keep smaller items in place and avoid crashing around the case during transportation. If you would rather a different colour to the silver finish, the C203 also comes in black (view product).

Installing M-DRO Console to a Chester Mill/Drill Machine (Customer Images)

We have received some great pictures from a Machine-DRO customer who has spent some time installing his new M-DRO DRO Console (Part No: DRO-140-M72-MM) and is very happy with the outcome after doing a test run.

Our customer had this to say: ‘I used a selection of the brackets supplied and was able to create a very acceptable installation. The long travel head and scale was installed using a combination of standard brackets. The flat plate (supplied) on which I mounted the cross travel reading head was machined to accommodate the taper on the machine base casting to bring it vertical. The cross travel scale was fixed to an aluminium plate as can be seen in the photo of the installation. (The power travel unit is removed in the photo)’

We thrive on positive customer satisfaction and thanks

    What is a Height Gauge?

It does exactly what the name indicates – height gauges measure the height of an item/workpiece. It is a measuring tool which operates with a sliding measuring stylus and moves along a vertical axis relative to a measuring scale on a beam. As the stylus slides up/down, the reading will move up and down, depending on how tall or short the workpiece you are measuring is. They are typically used on a heavy surface plate with an accurately flat, smooth underside to keep the height gauge stable when measuring to maintain an accurate reading.

Generally, a scriber, test indicator or touch probe is used to assist in marking out the measurement on the workpiece and are often a popular instrument for quality control purposes. As well as electronic height gauges, there are three basic types of mechanical height gauges which are; Vernier Height Gauges, Dial Height
